Let me take you on a journey. It is a journey of creating the children's Christmas book, "The Christmas Ant".
As we started this journey, we had the great story written by Jack L. Mauldin. Yet no one except Jack knew what the characters looked like. So Jack told Jana and with rough sketches and added color the characters came to life.It took a little while for Billy and his family to get their looks down. Billy started out needing a haircut, his sister, Sally had short hair and now it has grown out longer, Billy's brother, Joe, just had a hard time figuring out how to sit without looking funny. They have calmed down now, and even Mom and dad are getting their looks right.
